Economic Five Roll government spending back to 2008 levels and tie future increases to population growth. Reduce income taxes to the lowest in Canada. Maintain balanced budgets Put in place a 10 year plan to reduce/eliminate debt, lower sales taxes and put Nova Scotia on the road to a ‘have’ province. Empower the private sector through deregulation starting with the NSLC. Politics Four
Institute Recall. Allow direct election of the Premier. Electoral reform to eliminate phony majorities. Increase political transparency including publicly recording voting in the House. Regional One
Start a process to create a New East Partnership; one large Atlantic Canadian barrier-free market that removes the barriers to trade, investment and labour mobility. This would include a co-operation agreement on international trade and investment missions and an agreement to capitalize on combined buying power through the joint procurement and delivery of goods and services.

Agreed. Talk about opening up the energy sector in Nova Scotia to free and fair market conditions. Perhaps this would be a good place to talk about privatizing the NSLC as well.
